All Programs on the Farm include both a Tour and an Activitys
Farm Tour
A tour of the Farm includes a basic presentation of the subject of ecology and demonstrations of its principles in use on the site: "green' building construction through the use of recycled and natural materials (such as straw, wood, paper, compacted waste and more), energy conversion, water storage and recycling, organic farming and gardening, acquaintance with and uses of local flora, methods of home waste sorting and recycling, including its use in building and as fertilizers, introductions to the animals and people who reside on the Farm in accordance with the principles and methods of sustainable living.

Explanation of organic farming on the Farm with opportunity to work in the fields. |

Recycling |
In-depth explanation and demonstration of grey water system, water storage and use of organic waste |
Alternative Energy |
Explanation of the use of solar energy and the high efficiency sun-seeking solar energy unit on the Farm. |
2. Traditional Crafts |
Weaving |
Learn a variety of weaving techniques on fixed and mobile looms, using local and recycled materials. |
Ceramics |
Engage in the entire process of preparing and working with clay: walk to the riverbed to dig up local clay, press and work it until it is can be used and create your own vessels, sculpture, objects. |
Mosaics |
Make mosaics using recycled materials. |
Paper crafts |
Make your own paper from plants, from recycled materials, weave a paper mat and sculpture in papier-mache. |
Medicinal Herbs |
Discover the healing and cosmetic properties of local flora and prepare a variety of salves, gels, oils, shampoos and fragrant incense. |
Food Preparation and Baking |
Learn the basics of good nutrition, and experiment baking in a taboun and mud brick oven using organic ingredients and fresh herbs. |
3. Group Cohesion-Building |
For groups of workers, organization members, etc., for strengthening teamwork. |
Special activities to learn to focus and think about the Self and the Group. |
Schedule Options
- Custom programs can be arranged for mornings or afternoons for groups of 15 participants.
- Summer hours: from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM and from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
- Winter hours: from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM and from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
- Minimum time: 2 hours.
Cost
- Two hour group program: 200 NIS
- 5 hour group program: 800 NIS
- 8 hour group program: 1,000 NIS

- Up to 20 children: 600 NIS
- 20-30 children: 800 NIS.

How to Experience the Hava & Adam Ecological Farm Environment
- Maintain a quiet demeanor and speak in an audible, but soft, voice. No shouting or yelling.
- Display respect for all living, and non-living, elements in the Farm vicinity.
- Follow safety precautions as per instructions when working with tools and materials.
- Food – only vegetarian (including dairy) food is allowed on the Farm site.
- Disposable items are not permitted.
- Inorganic waste (plastics, food wrapper, etc. ) must be removed by the group at the conclusion of the program.
- Appropriate dress: work clothes, head covering, an ample supply of water (for use during walks off the site and for easy access).
